An ancient practice for modern longevity.
Deep-pigment berries have always played a fundamental role in human nutrition and survival. Recent scientific studies (including Harvard University) support that daily berry consumption reduces frailty and cardiovascular risk events, delays mental aging, and improves strength, mobility, and overall healthspan.
Yet, there is increasing difficulty sourcing quality berries. Mass-market blends arrive through global supply chains full of unknown contaminants, synthetic fillers, and industrial residues.
Pesticides (including organophosphates), sprayed liberally the world over onto croplands including berry farms for decades, have eradicated beneficial insects including pollinators (especially solitary bees and wasps), and decimated the birds, bats and lizards that once provided natural insect control.
Beyond their harm to beneficial insects and insectivores, these toxic chemicals have long been known to act as endocrine disruptors, lowering sperm counts in men and reducing pregnancy success rates in women at a truly alarming rate.
As early as the 1990s, we became aware of the scientific consensus that consuming conventionally grown berries of unknown provenance carries serious and underreported health and reproductive risks for humans.
We were also aware that toxin concentrations are highest on the same food groups that are being promoted to be particularly healthy for us: fruits, berries and vegetables.
So we cut out the unknown and started our own berry farm.
From the start, we were fully committed to sustainable agriculture, meaning zero chemical usage, zero use of harmful pesticides or herbicides (RoundUp) or petroleum (oil) derived nitrate fertilizers, on our crops, ever.
Given the original land use for horse breeding and pasture, there was luckily never a concern about the most dangerous chemicals such as the “forever toxins” DDT and PFAS. So we can state with confidence that these chemicals had never been used on our land since the farm was homesteaded in the 1880s.
To this day, our family farm uses regenerative, 100% organic agricultural methods. We have seeded and planted dozens of species of native pollinator plants. We continue to create hedges and habitat for the local insect populations and the animals that depend on them for food.
The berry bushes are thriving and are benefiting from the surrounding healthy and biodiverse plant and pollinator communities.
Our geography, downwind from Mount Rainier National Park, is specified as a Forest Life Zone that provides toxin free and nutrient rich growing conditions.
Our deep volcanic topsoil was deposited tens of thousands of years ago, and was replenished by volcanic ash that rained down when Mount St Helens erupted and blew off approximately 1,300 feet of rock and elevation on May 18, 1980 (the sky went dark that day).
Shelterbands of Giant Sequoias (Sequoia Gigantea) were established a few decades ago as wind break and to prevent desertification. These giant trees are the most awe inspiring testament to ecological stewardship at Mount Rainier Ecofarm.
Our irrigation system has provided us with pristine water from Mount Rainier National Park since 1917. In 1923 it was connected to a gravity system, carrying glacier water and snowmelt directly to the farm, without any surface contact.
Before making landfall over Mount Rainier National Park, the water that will ultimately irrigate your berries is brought in by open-ocean winds that span 5,000 miles without touching a single industrial site (closest settlement from where the wind blows is Okinawa, Japan).
So in summary, our six-berry blend is organically and sustainably grown, harvested, and cold-milled exclusively on our single estate family farm in the Pacific Northwest (Mount Rainier Ecofarm). We welcome you to come visit and pick your own berries sometime.

Ancestral Ground Control
To eliminate exhaust pollutants, gasoline use, and oil leaks from mechanical mowers and tractors, weed control is managed entirely by our resident herd of Shropshire sheep.
Brought from England by early settlers, this historic dual-purpose heritage breed was the premier choice in the Americas for over two centuries.
Crucially for our berry and grape canopy, Shropshires are physically incapable of rising onto their hind legs. They remain firmly planted on the ground, grazing the weeds perfectly while leaving the delicate berry crop entirely untouched.

Dried and Ready to Use
Humans have always dried wild berries to preserve nutrients, and to keep berries available for the off season.
We use our farm’s net-positive solar generation and grid to freeze, dry and mill the six berries into a tasty raw berry blend (BERRYSPRINKLES).
It is produced in small batches and available year-round, depending on what crop yield Nature provides in a given year.
BerrySprinkles raw berry powder blend is an easy way to stack the biological odds in your favor, simply by adding it to your daily food routine.

Six Berries Formula
BERRYSPRINKLES combines the most potent nordic and native berries:
- Blueberries
- Blackberries
- Aronia Berries
- Black Currants
- Kiwi Berries
- Black Grapes
100% organic blueberry leaves are added in small amounts to prevent caking and to boost the anti-oxidant properties of the blend.
